I pushed it and the HP Assistant came up and said the wireless was on. I click on the Vista bit link which takes me to the page with all the versions. Win7 won’t let me install the driver manually. OMG, windowz for your help. Especially if if this worked successfully in Vista. Thus the latest drivers would not work, but crash my system. You might have to go to the Device Manager to update the network drivers on that adapter. Went to uninstall programs in Control Panel and tried to uninstall everything dealing with wireless.

Why was your lead so, so hard 6×4 find? It says it cannot find the driver software required. Once that has been completed, right click on atueros executable that was downloaded and go to properties. The warning came up saying this did not match or something like that.
